Superior Jetties Supports Royal Childrens Hospital Swim 4 Kids
Australia's leading supplier of commercial and residential berthing systems has once again jumped in to support the Brisbane Royal Children's Hospital Swim 4 Kids.
Superior Jetties provided the flotation devices for the purpose built shark cage, which protected the 100 or so swimmers as they made their way from Seaworld on the Gold Coast to the Breakfast Creek Hotel in the Brisbane River.
The swim commenced from Seaworld on Thursday the 16th of October and concluded in the Brisbane River outside the Breakfast Creek Hotel four days later on the 20th of October.
With the support of many of the countries leading Olympians, former Olympians and high profile celebrities, the Swim 4 Kids has once again eclipsed the prior year tally and is looking to provide the Hospital with over $80,000.
Superior Jetties is equally proud of the efforts of National Sales Manager Leon Sines, who backed up from last year and once again swam the closing stages of the event. "I'm very passionate about helping such a great sause and it's terrific to see Superior kick in to support the cause" said Leon.
Gold medal winner from the Beijing Olympics, Jessica Schipper helped launch the swim at Seaworld with athletes such as Ashley Harrison from the Gold Coast Titans, Ben Hannant from the Sydney Bulldogs, and media personalities including Ash and Luttsy from Nova FM swimming legs along the way.
John Hogan, Managing Director of Superior Jetties agreed to support the event again next year, which we're certain will continue to grow and provide invaluable financial support for the Royal Children's Hospital.
