The Queensland Mining Expo in Mackay is quite possibly the most influential show on the Mining industry calendar. It only happens every second year, so the Superior Group took the opportunity to show how the Plastech products that have been proven in the Marine industry have been adapted for life in the heavy duty mining world.

With more than 10,000 visitors to the showgrounds in Mackay there are few members of the mining industry that miss this event. Superior have been manufacturing plastic products for use in the rugged mining environments for several years. It has seemed obvious to Superior that the non-corrosive properties, particularly of the UMD range, were tailor-made for use in the extraction processes.

However, it doesn't end there! The team in the Plastech division manufacture diesel tanks, machinery guards, battery boxes and many more pieces of safety equipment and barriers. The Superior Group products are well-liked on site as they are tough, strong and comparatively light when being moved.

The product range is always growing as the team take modifications and suggestions from our customers in the field to continually improve the products.
